The Snowberry

Symphoricarpos albus

The Snowberry comes from a small Genus of half a dozen or so deciduous shrubs. It’s real claim to fame comes from the large white berries that appear as Autumn approaches.

Commonly planted amongst roadside planting and as ‘fillers’ in Local Parks, the Symphoricarpos goes largely unnoticed, even by Birds, which do not touch its white berries. It is however worthy of note.
