The Killarney Strawberry Tree

The Killarney Strawbery Tree is one of a small number of species of the Genera Arbutus. They belong to the Family Ericaceae, and unusually for that Family the Killarney Strawberry Tree is Lime tolerant.

This evergreen shrub is peculiar in that it produced both flowers and fruit at the same time in the Autumn

Typically this is what you might expect to see for a 10 years old shrub

And this after 20 years or so if the species you buy is a larger growing species
