Ornamental Grasses
There are many forms of grasses out there for you to discover, and in recent years they have been quite a fashionable addition to parks and gardens, as well as in private gardens.
From the large and domineering Pampass Grasses …
… to the smaller Kentucky Blue Grass in the foreground of this image …
Yellow Stipa bringing pockets of brighhtness to a dull corner …
Grasses with purple coloured heads …
… and all the while bringing some ‘softness’ into the garden.
And once they have gone past their best by the end of the season, cut them back like this in the Spring so that they can do it all again for another year.
