Rosemary

Rosmarinus officinalis

The popular culinary herb, the Common Rosemary is also quite a decorative shrub, and good in all types of well-drained soil in full sun. Easily capable of becomming a dense shrub up to 2M high and equally as wide. Belonging to the same Generic Family as Lavender, it too has very aromatic foliage, and it tolerates dry conditions very well.

Blue flowers in May on previous years growth.

‘Miss Jessop’s Variety’ makes a good aromatic low hedge which will tolerate light clipping.
