Parrotia
Latin Name : Parrotia persica

Grown particularly for its tremendous autumn leaf colour, the Parrotia will become a large deciduous shrub or small tree.
This image also shows how the more mature Parrotia has that capacity to shed its bark in random patches, much as the London Plane Tree (Platanus x hispanica)

Interestingly its leaf is Obovate in shape, which is growing broader as its width progresses towards the end tip, rather that Elliptic like a Cherry leaf
