Latin Name : Osmanthus delavayi

Osmanthus is a Genus of evergreen  shrubs, generally with small white or cream flowers. It is Osmanthus delavayi shown in this blog.

Flowering profusely in April, and with a sweet scent, it grows slowly to about 2 M

It is often the case that small flowers carry a deep scent, and these are similar in appearance to the Summer Jasmin (Jasminum officinale)
