Osmanthus
Latin Name : Osmanthus delavayi

This Chinese evergreen shrub has strongly fragrant white flowers and is very similar to x Osmarea burkwoodii. That is because it is one of its parents.

Like the x Osmarea, it grows slowly to 2 – 3 metres in height, but can get wider than that. It does well in most soil, so it’s worth giving a chance.

This is a variety of O.delavayi, and is a pink variety of ‘Latifolius’ called ‘Franch’.
