Honeysuckle
Latin Name : Lonicera sp.
Grown mainly for its powerful scent, Honeysuckle flowers in early spring, and will grow on a frame, trellis or through the crown of a tree. This species is Lonicera pericyclemenum, ‘The Woodbine’, which flowers in May – June.
This is Lonicera japonica which also flowers in May – June
… and this is Lonicera pericyclemenum ‘Serotina’ which flowers later than the type, in July to October.
