Grape Hyacinth

The Muskari or Grape Hyacinth, as it most commonly called is a remarkably tough plant. Its small white bulbs multiply at an alarming rate, and unless you ‘trap’ them within a confined space, they will invade in a weed-like fashion.

Having said all of that, they have an ‘old fashioned’ feel to them. I hear many people remark – ‘They used to be in my Grandad’s garden’. And they probably did.
