Commonly white or pink flowers. With fluffy-looking flowers. This deciduous shrub is Deutzia scabra which flowers in June/July, and can grow to 3.5M in height, which is generally taller than most Deutzias.

This one is Deutzia gracilis. It flowers in May/June but needs a little protection from frosts early on in the year.
