Coral Bells or Alumroot
Latin Name : Heuchera
This is an evergreen perennial whose different varieties give some truly wonderful leaf colours, grown within a border or a tub. This one is called ‘Chartruse’
In contrast, with its dark purple wavy-edged leaf, this is Heuchera ‘Black Taffeta’.
There are many to choose from, and pinning it down to one is difficult …
And when the flower comes, this it what it looks like. Generally pale colours although ‘striking reds’ are there to be had if you search for them!
