Latin Name : Buxus sempervirens

 

Evergreen and quite hardy, Box is useful for small hedges and topiary. Used in formal gardens mostly to form edging to flower borders or paths, they really are best trimmed by hand, as they are quite tough. However, given the illustration above, you may be surprised to know that if left unattended, they can grow to large proportions.
