Where the first 2 are concerned, one is a Lilac and the other is a Poplar, so the ultimate difference amounts to this.
This is the Poplar …
… and this the Lilac.
And where the second pair are concerned ….
These are mature Beech Trees …
… and this is a large Hornbeam — and both make good hedges — but when they are young, can you tell which is which ?
So Buyer Beware. Never buy any plant unless you are absolutely sure of what you are buying, or you could be sorry !
